Raptors try to stay in sync as Scottie Barnes deals with wrist injury

Nick Nurse may have some juggling to do, just as the Raptors were developing some much-needed rotation stability.

The uncertain status surrounding Scottie Barnes, who is bothered by a sore wrist that could cost him time during a crucial four-game homestand, will force Toronto’s coach to once again mix and match starting groups with a reserve unit that had been hitting its stride.

Barnes did not practice on Tuesday and Nurse said he’s likely to be “questionable” for at least a home game Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers.

“The MRI (that Barnes had Monday) was clear that he had,” Nurse said of Barnes, who left a loss in Milwaukee just before halftime on Sunday with left wrist pain.
