Raptors try Rondae on for size after low-risk deal

He’s a crafty devil, that Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is. Sneaky, even.

Only 24 years old and likely with many years of NBA employment ahead, he already knows enough tricks of the trade to help the Raptors this season.

“Going against bigger guys, you have to figure out ways to finish the basketball, so that’s something I kind of took from a few players and I added a little bit of Chester, Pa. (his hometown) in there,” Hollis-Jefferson said during Toronto’s recent training camp in Quebec City.

“Bigger guys” is, of course, a subjective term and everything is relative, but Hollis-Jefferson is right.
