The National Basketball Association (NBA) announced today that reigning Argentinean championship team San Lorenzo de Almagro will travel to Toronto, Canada for a preseason game against the Toronto Raptors, marking the first time an Argentinean basketball club will take on an NBA team. The game will take place at the Air Canada Centre on Friday, Oct. 14 and will be available internationally on NBA League Pass.
San Lorenzo de Almagro, which plays its home games in Buenos Aires, Argentina as part of Argentina’s Liga Nacional de Básquet (LNB), recently won its first LNB championship in 2016 after topping La Union 4-0 in the finals.
