The Summer Raptors are back on track after routing Houston 92-76 in Las Vegas on Thursday. The result doesn’t matter, but some things do.
- Impressive Ish: It’s foolhardy to think much of what happens in a Summer League game will translate to the NBA, but Ish Wainright has shown some flashes. He knocked down a couple of jump shots and had a few steals while showing some defensive personality, and it’s not hard to see why the Raptors have already signed him to a small guarantee and a training camp invite.
Wainright’s an imposing physical specimen — six-foot-five and 235 pounds — and played a season of football at Baylor, where he also played four years of basketball.
