A lot has changed since the Toronto Raptors were last in the NBA playoffs.

Less than a year after Toronto took the 2018-2019 championship win, COVID-19 hit the globe. NBA teams were moved to play together in bubble to finish the 2019-2020 season. The year after that, Toronto’s home base was temporarily relocated to Tampa Bay as cases across continents continued to skyrocket.

With most of the league fully vaccinated in the 2021-2022 season, Toronto returned back to their home base, Scotiabank Arena — but many things were different. The team’s franchise icon and leader Kyle Lowry departed for Miami, while Toronto welcomed new players, including rookie Scottie Barnes.
