There are many intricacies that Nick Nurse would like to introduce to the Raptors, give his players time to work on them, and put them to use in games.
He may one day get that chance but, all too often in this season, he’s had to teach far more rudimentary bits of the game. Like imploring his team to work hard from the opening tip every night.
“There are good things to show ’em and we say we want to do more of it,” Nurse was saying before the Raptors beat the New York Knicks 90-87 at the Scotiabank Arena on Friday.
