By all counts and measure Toronto Raptor’s rookie OG Anunoby deserved to make the Rising Stars Challenge. The British, rookie forward has been a revelation since being drafted 23rd in the 2017 draft and is an integral player for one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference.
With a loaded rookie class of exceptionally talented foreign players, this year’s benchmark was particularly high. Still, after the year OG Anunoby has had there are no excuses for leaving him off.
