Dwane Casey said he thought Serge Ibaka has been a bit “bouncy” of late, which is not an adjective generally associated with the veteran Raptors big man.
But it is one that’s apt these days.
Ibaka, who had been off to a slow start to his first full season with the Raptors, has been energized the last couple of weeks and looking quicker, more explosive, more comfortable with his role and responsibilities.
“He’s getting a better feel for what we are trying to do offensively,” Casey told reporters before the Raptors finished a four-game road trip by beating the Suns in Phoenix on Wednesday night.
