The Toronto Raptors made a couple of personnel announcements; one expected, the other not. Luke Ridnour was waived by the team prior to being officially listed on next year’s roster, so the veteran point guard is an Unrestricted Free Agent. We never saw him in Raptor red, and we likely never will.
Of much greater concern comes the news of a serious injury to DeAndre Daniels. He suffered a so-called Jones fracture in his right foot, and has had surgery. DeAndre’s summer league opportunity has ended before it started, and the best we can hope for is a full recovery before training camp.
