Raptors ride Lowry’s triple-double in laugher over Knicks

NEW YORK—It is not the greatest of basketball accomplishments to beat the New York Knicks these days, but the manner in which the Toronto Raptors dispatched them here Monday night was impressive in many ways.

It was a thorough dismantling of a suspect opponent, a 122-95 victory in which the Raptors bent a little but never broke, played to their strengths and ran away down the stretch to run their record to 37-18.

Kyle Lowry had a triple-double — the margin by which he outplayed the Knicks guards was shocking — with 22 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds.
