Dwane Casey has been rewarded for being the most successful coach in Toronto Raptors history.

League and team sources confirm Casey will get a new three-year, $18-million contract to start the 2016-17 season.

The team had an option on his deal worth less than $4 million next season but decided to reward him after a 56-win regular season and a trip to the Eastern Conference finals.

Casey, 59, is the winningest coach in Toronto franchise history with a 210-184 mark. His first season in Toronto was in 2011-12, after he was an assistant coach with the Mavericks team that won the 2011 NBA title.
