A funk had enveloped the Toronto Raptors, one of those periods of discombobulation that hit teams over the course of a season.
Then Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan decided it was time to snap out of it.
The two all-star guards powered a late-game rally as the Raptors overcame a sluggish effort to the beat the Utah Jazz 101-93 at the Air Canada Centre on Thursday night.
Lowry made a series of big baskets and a DeRozan jump shot gave Toronto its first lead of the game with about three minutes remaining to cap a dramatic comeback in front of the usual sellout crowd.
