The deadline for Raptors season ticket holders to opt-in for playoff tickets has been deferred as the NBA, along with most sports leagues worldwide, continues to sit idle amidst the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, the Raptors’ parent company, originally set this Friday as the deadline for season tickets holders to secure playoff tickets but a spokesperson said Thursday that the date has been pushed. A new deadline has yet to be set.
The NBA was the first major sports league to suspend its season due to coronavirus last Wednesday after Utah Jazz centre Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19.
