Raptors’ problems are correctable, but the time is now

MILWAUKEE—It was the wise sage Fred VanVleet who first broached the subject back home on Monday afternoon when it was still 2018 and the Toronto Raptors had yet to fail in another significant road test.

It was all well and good that the team is playing the long game with the season, that as long as things are going well in April, May and possibly June, a few mid-season hiccups could be handled. But, truth be told, those hiccups aren’t going away. Time is passing quickly.
