Only 87 games into his NBA career, Jakob Poeltl carries the wisdom of someone much more experienced.
With the Raptors coming off consecutive losses, their first back-to-back setbacks in more than a month, Poeltl said before Friday’s date with the Hawks that there’s not much sense in dwelling too long on the recent misfortunes.
“Obviously we looked at some film, looked at some mistakes, but I think the main thing is probably your mindset,” Poeltl said about the way to get the distasteful losses in Dallas and Oklahoma City out of their minds. “You’ve got to learn from those games and you’ve got to move on and focus on the next one, because there’s so many games in a season and that’s just how it is in the NBA.
