Raptors overcome hot-shooting Nets with second-half run

Toronto puts the game away with a 28-7 run in the third and fourth quarters.

Raptors guard Norman Powell takes an elbow to the chin from Brooklyn Nets centre Brook Lopez, who had 20 points in a losing cause Friday night.

The three-pointers rained down from everywhere, some open, some contested, some expected, some out of nowhere.

And then the Toronto Raptors began to play.

Finally exerting some authority over the hot-shooting Brooklyn Nets with a dominant stretch bridging the end of the third quarter and start of the fourth, the Raptors rallied for a 132-113 victory at the Air Canada Centre.
