Toronto Raptors have the best fans in the NBA, or so they are told.
“Every colleague I run into from other NBA teams just talks about our fans,” says Shannon Hosford, vice-president of marketing and communications at Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, told the Star.
But their passion for their team will be put to the test during the Eastern Conference finals, as the Raptors’ fan base will be pitted against Cleveland Cavaliers supporters when the two NBA clubs clash beginning on Tuesday in Game 1 (8:30 p.m.).
With the city only about a five-hour drive from Toronto, it stands to reason that some Raptors fans will go on the road in support of their team.
