The NBA released its 2016-17 schedule Thursday and the Toronto Raptors will get their 22nd season rolling with a star-heavy, three-game homestand that starts with the Detroit Pistons visiting on Oct. 26.
From there, Raptors fans will get a rematch of the 2016 Eastern Conference final, when LeBron James — who signed a three-year, $100-million contract extension Thursday — and the NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers return to the Air Canada Centre on Oct. 28.
Kitchener native Jamal Murray will bring the Denver Nuggets in on Halloween, facing a Raptors team that will be looking to top its franchise-record 56-win season.
