Raptors need to juggle minutes with D. Wright injury

The shoulder injury to Delon Wright will have a ripple effect across the roster of the Toronto Raptors. The backup point guard has been enjoy a solid if not spectacular season to date. His scoring and defensive work have been fine, but he’s hurt the team with a number of turnovers, many of them unforced. Regardless, coach Dwane Casey appeared to have anointed him Kyle Lowry’s beard, until Wednesday night in New Orleans.

Norman Powell is already sidelined with a hip pointer, one of those nasty injuries which can take weeks to fully recover from. As Jack Armstrong once said “If you’re hurt, you play – if you’re injured, you don’t”, and Norman is injured.
