The Toronto Raptors came up short against the Phoenix Suns Tuesday night but what happened late in the game is what had most fans talking.
Though only 1,000 fans were in the building due to Ontario’s COVID-19 mandate, one person caused a big enough stir to get banned from the sightlines of Phoenix star Devin Booker.
He asked the officiating crew to move the Raptors mascot during his crucial free throws in the final moments of the game and the refs did so. The NBA all star elaborated on happened, explaining that he wanted him out of the way.
