CHARLOTTE OG Anunoby has a small, undisplaced fracture of his right ring finger and will be lost for the Raptors for a while.
The forward was experiencing discomfort with his finger before the all-star break and when it didn’t improve, he had further tests here when the Raptors reconvened for Friday’s game against the Hornets.
The imaging examinations showed a small fracture. He will be examined further this weekend but the current treatment plan includes more rest.
The Raptors have 25 games left in the regular season, including here Friday night.
Anunoby has already missed 13 games this season because a left hip pointer suffered in an off-day practice in Portland in November and two others in the NBA’s health and safety protocols.
