Raptors look to switch it up in Game 2 with Bucks

As counter-intuitive as it may seem, the Toronto Raptors may look to settle for jump shots in Game 2 of their playoff series with the Milwaukee Bucks rather than get to the rim.

With floor balance a key and trying to limit the transition opportunities for the Bucks, getting all the way to the rim might not be advisable.

While it’s all well and good that DeMar DeRozan shot 15 free throws in Saturday’s Game 1, he realizes the need to mix up his offence to not leave his teammates at a defensive disadvantage.

“That gave them multiple opportunities to get down in transition, especially when I was trying to be aggressive for myself, getting to the basket, leaving my teammates four-on-five going back down,” the Raptors all-star said.
