A lot has been asked of Pascal Siakam by the Toronto Raptors in this breakout season for the still young forward.
And there is much more to come.
Already charged with a starting role and a key cog in the offence, a defensive rebounder who corrals missed shots and leads transition offence, the 24-year-old Siakam must now make another major leap in his development.
With Jonas Valanciunas out for an extended period of time and the Raptors woefully thin —quite literally — at centre, Siakam is going to assume more responsibility in the middle for the foreseeable future.
