Raptors look to add some surprises on offence

There will be many possessions for the Raptors in every game this season that will catch Dwane Casey by surprise because something entirely unscripted will transpire and the coach won’t know what’s coming.

And that will be just fine with Casey; it’s all part of the grand plan to unlock a more free-flowing offence that opponents won’t be able to anticipate.

“(If) I don’t know where the ball is going, damn sure the defence is not going to know where it’s going,” Casey said Tuesday before the Raptors played the Detroit Pistons in Toronto’s lone home pre-season game.
