On the second day of Rio Olympics, Lithuania faced off against Brazil in their first match of Men’s Preliminary Round Basketball. While it was not at the level of domination USA had over China on Saturday, Lithuania overshadowed Brazil until the host country set out to make a deep comeback.
Lithuania Men’s National Team took the victory against the host country Brazil in their first preliminary match with a final score of 82-76. Lithuania maintained a double-digit lead for the greater part of the game; at the end of the half, they commanded Brazil with a 29 point lead.
