With half the pre-season left before the Oct. 22 start to the season for the Toronto Raptors, it’s time to cut to the chase and start winnowing down the larger group into a more workable rotation.
Given the need to preserve the oldsters and with the grind of a regular season, Raptors head coach Nick Nurse is likely to play 10 guys regularly and up to 11 or even 12 on some nights.
There’s a stark division on the roster already in place, and games against Chicago here on Sunday and in Brooklyn on Friday will determine the back end of the rotation.
