A Sporting News slideshow of the most disliked players in NBA history got me wondering. Has there ever been a Toronto Raptors player whose efforts (or lack thereof) on the court, or foolishness off it, have so gotten under fans’ skins that there has been a groundswell of “Get that guy out of here!” loud enough even the front office couldn’t ignore it.
No Raptor, past or present, made the Sporting News list, which I’m quite happy about. Who wants to keep company with whackjobs like Latrell Sprewell or Dennis Rodman? I note former Raptors GM Isiah Thomas made the rankings, but only for his activities as a player.
