Raptors have some fine-tuning to do ahead of playoffs

NEW YORK—With the final three games of the marathon season in front of them and their playoff future still a bit cloudy, it’s time for the Toronto Raptors to truly worry about themselves and fine-tune some aspects of their play.

Friday night’s relatively easy win over the Indiana Pacers with a makeshift rotation was a pleasant surprise and provided valuable experience for some. However, there also were moments that made coach Dwane Casey a bit uneasy, and there are things he wants fixed before the post-season rolls around.

The most glaring was the too-high number of open three-pointers the Raptors surrendered, mostly to Indiana power forwards and centres.
