Kyle Lowry, who finished fifth in all-star balloting in combined voting of fans, players and media, will take part in his sixth NBA all-star game next month after being named an Eastern Conference reserve Thursday.
The 33-year-old Raptors guard has played in the last five all-star games, starting the 2014-15 and 2015-16 games.
“It would be great and I’d be super excited as always and it would be another milestone that I can (appreciate) when I’m all done,” Lowry said Tuesday of a possible all-star selection.
The six-foot guard is averaging 19.8 points and 7.4 assists in 36 games for the Raptors this season.
