Raptors GM Masai Ujiri says bringing back DeMar DeRozan is top priority

While Masai Ujiri is proud of his Raptors team for its most successful season in franchise history this year, the disappointment at not being the last organization standing remains.

“Twenty-nine teams have lost, there are 29 disappointed teams and we are one of them . . . we didn’t win the championship,” the Raptors’ general manager said Monday at his end-of-season news conference, three days after the Cleveland Cavaliers knocked his team out of the Eastern Conference final in six games.

Actually, 27 teams have been eliminated so far going into tonight’s Western Conference final between the Golden State Warriors and the Oklahoma Thunder but his point was made.
