Raptors get a chance, or three, to reacquaint themselves with old rivals

Toronto will see plenty of Indiana after their paths not crossing all season.

Before Sunday, the Raptors hadn't seen Paul George, centre, and the Indiana Pacers since the first round of last season's playoffs.

There have been many quirks to the NBA’s regular-season schedule, and the Toronto Raptors came upon another one Sunday night. In the 70th game of the 82-game schedule, the Raptors got their first look at the Indiana Pacers, an Eastern Conference rival.

“Very unusual for scheduling, to have a team (for the first time) this long into the season, to have to wait to play them, but that’s the way the computer spit it out,” Raptors coach Dwane Casey said before the game.
