Raptors fall to Heat — unlike their open shots

The Raptors were all about effort as they prepared to visit the Miami Heat on the road on Thursday night.

The Heat went into the night with the best home record in the NBA at 15-1, and Toronto knew it was going to have to go toe-to-toe with the home team in a hostile environment.

“Match their intensity, match how hard they play,” said Toronto’s de facto engine Kyle Lowry. “Understand where they’re trying to get on the floor, spots they want to be in and just play our game, not think about this, that, the other, just go out there and play our game and follow the game plan.
