So many good signs, good plays, good moments on which to build, all for naught in this weird, tumultuous, disappointing Raptors season.
It happened again Saturday night, many moments of great promise, many solid individual performances, much to be optimistic about.
And a loss.
Another tough, close loss.
One of many in a season that’s rapidly circling the drain.
A disastrous offensive fourth quarter – 13 points on just 6-for-24 shooting from the floor – doomed the Raptors in a 106-102 road loss to the Utah Jazz.
It was a sadly typical game for this version of the Raptors: lots of really good play, just not enough.
