DeMarre Carroll is counting on Toronto Raptors head coach Dwane Casey not being able to control himself once the NBA playoffs arrive later this week.
Carroll, coming back from knee surgery that robbed him of about half his first Raptors season, is playing restricted minutes as the team’s medical staff closely monitors a comeback already derailed once by a setback.
Carroll has played in two games since coming back, logging 17 minutes Sunday in New York and 14 in Atlanta last Thursday before sitting out a Friday game against Indiana as a precaution.
