ATLANTA—DeMarre Carroll’s road back to game action is progressing but it’s not an easy journey.
The Raptors forward told reporters Thursday morning that he still hopes to get into the last couple of games on the regular-season schedule. Carroll recently re-joined his teammates in practice and has been testing his surgically repaired right knee. The Raptors’ top free-agent signing from last summer, Carroll has missed 54 games this season.
“That’s the goal, to get back for a couple but we really don’t know when. We’re going to play it by ear,” he said. “I’m going to keep working and I’m ready to get back and help this team.
