Raptors’ Delon Wright suffers dislocated right shoulder, no timetable for return

The Raptors will be without point guard Delon Wright for a while.

The 25-year-old Wright suffered a dislocated right shoulder in the game in New Orleans on Wednesday, the team announced Thursday, and a return date has yet to be even contemplated.

The team said Wright was examined in Toronto and the medical staff will await the final results. Wright has obviously been ruled out of a Friday game at home against the New York Knicks and it would be a stunner if he was available for a Sunday afternoon game against Washington.

Wright was injured about halfway through the second quarter of Toronto’s 125-116 win over the Pelicans when he got tangled up with DeMarcus Cousins chasing a loose ball.
