Raptors, Cavaliers: LeBron is the king, but Toronto is the better team now

For the third time in as many seasons, the Toronto Raptors will square off with LeBron James in the playoffs. This time, however, it’s Toronto’s series to lose, even if the best player on the planet stands in their way.

LeBron James remains in a league of his own, but the supporting cast surrounding him is not what it once was. The Indiana Pacers, after being swept last season, pushed James to the brink of elimination, harder than he’d ever been pushed in a first-round series. You’d have to go back to 2012 to find the last time a James-led team failed to sweep a first-round opponent, the New York Knicks pushing the Miami Heat to a taxing fifth game.
