CHARLOTTE, N.C.—The Raptors find themselves in a spot of trouble and not anywhere near where they expected to be, fighting for a favourable spot in the play-in portion of the NBA playoffs.
What are they to do?
Find some way to make the most of it. Even if they used to mock it.
“Last year we were in the top six (and automatically in the playoffs) so I got to laugh at the play-in,” Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet said here Tuesday. “This year we’re in (the play-in) and you’ve got to wrap your mind around (how) we’re going to win a game or two to get in (to the playoffs).
