Raptors-Bulls game postponed by NBA due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols

The Raptors have now had their first game of the NBA season postponed.

The NBA announced Sunday morning that due to health and safety protocols, Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bulls is off.

“Because of positive test results and ongoing contact tracing within the Raptors, the team will not have the league-required eight available players to proceed with the scheduled game against the Bulls,” the league said in a release.

There was no immediate word on how many Raptors are affected; the NBA mandates teams have at least eight available players for every game.
