The Toronto Raptors Eastern Conference opponents were busy this offseason bringing in new pieces and trying to figure out where each will fit in.
Meanwhile, the Raptors decided that their plan of action of was to simply reshuffle the deck and provide new roles within the offence for the existing roster of players.
One of the new roles that has been handed out by head coach Dwane Casey is that of the playmaker to Jonas Valanciunas.
Valanciunas has looked impressive so far in training camp and into preseason.
While many of his fellow teammates spent the summer playing in pick up games, Valanciunas spent his summer playing for his native Lithuania and competing in the Eurobasket 2017 tournament.
