Raptors announce Chris Boucher out at least a week with knee injury

Chris Boucher will be lost to the Raptors for at least a week.

The team announced Friday that Boucher suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee and will “be out until the team departs for an upcoming West Coast trip” that begins April 29.

“His condition will then be updated as appropriate,” the team said.

Boucher was injured in the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s win over the Brooklyn Nets in Tampa.

The six-foot-nine forward was enjoying the best year of his career, averaging 13.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.9 blocked shots per game.
