The anual NBA G League Draft was held Saturday afternoon. Players eligible to be selected ranged from NBA veterans to undrafted college prospects. Raptors 905 selected 25th in each of the draft’s four rounds however, opted not to make a selection in the final round.
Round one saw Toronto’s G League affiliate select LeRon Black from Illinois. At 22-years of age he could be a project for the 905 moving forward.
Black averaged 15 points and 5.3 rebounds per game last year in college. At 6’7″ Black is at his best in and around the basket but can also pose a threat from beyond the arc in pick-and-pop situations.
