Things did not start well for the Raptors 905 this season. After 13 games, the team had a record of just 4-9 and were losers of four straight. Then, just as the season felt lost, things started to turn around. The 905 caught fire. The team won 10 straight, 18 of their next 22, and quickly found themselves in contention for the number one seed in the conference.
From that point on, the team was solid, going 8-5 the last 13 games and finishing the G-League with the third best record. However, due to the G-League’s playoff format, the 905 was placed as the fourth seed in their own conference.
