Led by Axel Toupane’s game-high 41 points, the Raptors 905 withstood a late push from the Canton Charge to win their first ever playoff game 112-107 and move within one victory of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Despite an 11-2 Canton rally early in the fourth quarter that eventually claimed them a one point lead with eight minutes to play, the game never really felt as close. For the majority of time, the 905 appeared as the better team in most areas of the game. Toupane struck home an ice-in-veins jumper and quickly followed it up with a steal and another bucket for the sudden four-point swing late in the fourth that effectively putting this one to rest.
