Raptors 905 make history by hiring Canadian Olympian Tamara Tatham

The Raptors 905 are making G League history.

The team will have two-time Canadian Olympian Tamara Tatham in a coaching role for the coming season, sources confirmed, making the native of Brampton the first Canadian woman on a North American men’s pro league staff.

Seen here playing for Canada during the Rio Olympics in 2016, Tamara Tatham will be blazing a trail with the Raptors 905 this season.

Tatham, 32, spent last season as an assistant with the University of Toronto Blues after a stellar international career ended with a season in France.

Tatham, who played for Canada at the 2012 London and 2016 Rio Olympics, joins the staff of Raptors 905 head coach Jama Mahlalela.
