Not to be overshadowed by the impending playoff run of the Raptors, their D-League partners to the west, the 905, are about to embark on their own run at the title. That’s right, starting tomorrow the Raptors 905, in just their second season, will play their first post-season games in franchise history. What a time.
The 905 finished the season first in the entire D-League at 39-11 and will play the Canton Charge (29-21) in the first round. The playoff structure is a tad different however. Game 1 is played at the visitor’s home — Canton, Ohio — with Games 2 and 3 in Mississauga.
