The Toronto Raptors tip off against the New York Knicks at noon. The game is the first of a boatload of games scheduled for major TV exposure on Sunday as the NBA placates its new masters, the networks.
That’s not our concern as Raptors fans. We want our guys to continue their recent spell of winning play with a victory over a broken opponent. For the Knicks, who are winding up another disappointing season well outside the playoffs, a win or loss is moot. The Raptors, conversely, would love to finish second in the East but must win this game, and their last one against Cleveland (and get some help), to do so.
