The Toronto Raptors don’t get any time to consider why they collapsed against the Indiana Pacers. They are in Detroit to take on the Pistons, another team anxious (at least in theory) to grab a playoff berth.
The Pistons have performed a belly-flop at the worst time. With 2 wins in their last 11 games, they are almost certain to return to the draft lottery. Their core group raised hopes in the (former) Motor City by advancing to the playoffs last season. While they were pancaked by the Cleveland Cavaliers, there was legitimate cause for hope entering this season.
