Raptors 111 – Hawks 98: no Ibaka, no problem

For a reason not made clear at all, Serge Ibaka was suspended by the Toronto Raptors for tonight’s game against the Atlanta Hawks. Remarkably enough, without their top shot blocker, nine Raptors punched out 15 Atlanta attempts. The defense was more than enough to overcome some shaky offense and a sluggish Q4. The Raptors rolled to a 13-point win.

Continuing the theme of contributions up and down the roster, all eleven who hit the floor scored. Nine Raptors made at least one 3-ball. The two who didn’t, Jakob Poeltl and Lucas Nogueira, didn’t try any long balls, but made major contributions elsewhere.
