The Toronto Raptors have experienced a bunch of chilly starts to games this season, but none frostier than Game 82. The Raptors 905 were in the house (4 of the 5 starters played major minutes in Mississauga before graduating to the big team), and it showed, as the kids were suffering mightily from n-n-n-nerves. Toronto needed a flurry of late Q4 makes just to get into double figures.
The Brooklyn Nets couldn’t help but grab a lead which stretched to 17 points, but not for long.
Not to worry. Once the Raptors found the path, they never strayed.
